I can't take my job anymore but there's nothing else i want to do that would pay my mortgage and my student loans and let C continue to live the life to which she has become accustomed
that's all.
fuck, fuck, fuck. i am going to go walk the dog but really, i am going to smoke a cigarette and use walking the dog as an excuse to do it! hey!

hinge snapped on powerbook
so i'm a little wary of using it, which is why i haven't been posting. my apologies.
i'd had it left open on the table (afraid of closing the lid) and the screen mysteriously turned black and white. figured one of the wires to the LCD had gotten pinched and fucked it up, so frustrated I gave up on it. then it occurred to me to plug it into the plasma tv (HAHAHA PLASMA TV) and it was still black and white, which is when I realized a) graphics card is fucked or b) one of my lovely cats had stepped on the apple key + something, turning the screen black and white. turned out to be the latter, and everything is now fine (well, if you ignore the fact that the LCD is held on by one hinge which is sure to break one of these days. grrr.)

entry
I haven't written in awhile, I apologize. Since I've now received a voicemail requesting a post (thanks G) I guess I should oblige.
First, the good news: I've bought a 37-inch plasma television. You really haven't lived until you've seen that awful movie "The Cat in the Hat" in its high definition, wide-screen glory (some alcohol helps). Holy shit guys you have to come visit just to see the TV. I love this thing so much I'm actually worried about how it will fare in a move to chicago. A move that isn't even scheduled yet.
Now the bad news: i fucking hate my job. I work too much. i can't breathe. If there is a hate disease, I've developed it. And I'm so demoralized I can't even motivate myself to work on my own resume (much less I's resume, which i was supposed to be working on.) i am in a rut. a rut of hate! :) agh.
