robertson, sharon, carpentry
Why is Pat Robertson's idiocy even news anymore? When something like this happens, it's inevitable, like gravity. We don't write news stories every time something falls like it's supposed to. That being said, god (with a lower case g) I LOVE THAT MAN. I guess I just feel he's more appropriate for the daily show than cnn.
I think last night when I saw a news clip with GW Bush talking about Sharon, I honestly believe what the man was saying. Like he seemed upset and sincere. I actually felt bad for him, it seems he really likes Sharon as a person. It's too bad he doesn't feel so strongly about what the rest of america likes (you know, we like liberty, and dislike warrantless wire taps, etc. But maybe I speak for only myself there).
The new thing in our household is "oh yeah? well if you really loved me, you'd build me an entertainment center with your bare hands."

so let me get this straight
at&t used to be this huge monopoly, until the federal government broke it up into regional "baby bells". where i grew up, we had michigan bell. maybe where you grew up, it was sbc--which eventually became a national phone company (and tried to take me to collection for a bill i no longer owed any money on, but that's neither here not there).
and so many years passed and then, at least according to the commercials i just saw while spaced out in front of "law & order: svu", sbc merged into AT&T, to form a new company called...
at&t.
