nervous

I'm uncharacteristically nervous about this interview on Monday. I haven't interviewed in three years, and I really want to get the hell out of here, so that's most of it. The other problem is that I spent too much time looking at the profiles of associates on their websites and they're all magna cum laude and graduated with honors from yale. But...well, I guess they wouldn't have given me an interview if they weren't going to hire my non-honors self. (Note that I failed to get honors in college not because I'm dumb, but because I was "finding myself" [ok, and I was lazy and played too much mario kart]. Note that I failed to get honors in law school because a certain professor almost failed me in his crappy class. grrrr.) and this is just my first interview. i will get more. oh yes, i will. yes.

i think.

sigh.

anyway, it will be good to see the folks in chicago and hear g.c.'s version of the story where he got banned from a bar for only wearing one shoe. plus i get to call in sick to my real job, which is always a good time.

Apparently, g.c.'s memory of dinner last night is a little "fuzzy" as well, so I guess we're lucky he wore any shoes. God I love that boy.

By the way, I inhaled enough queso panela for breakfast this morning to make myself sick...thanks!

It's nice having you here, and I hope you interview went well. Relax, damnit!
